That's... not exactly what Flynn had envisioned when he had asked for something upbeat. Fair enough, Andersen had warned him that he didn't really do happy stories but that was quite a jump from "not lighthearted" to "murdering Weight Watcher badger cannibal".]
Thank you.
[He's just... seriously, he has to use text here. His face just gives too much away at this point.]
So the moral is don't murder and eat other people?
I think a lot of things should but then I see what people are doing to each other in this place.
I appreciate you writing this for me. Us, really. I am working on some digitizations of material I have come across during my travels but definitely will include your fable in the next update!
Your parents were poor but that didn't stop you from receiving higher education and even attending university. You were planning on becoming an actor before you turned to writing and unlike many others, you were successful in your lifetime, your fairy tales gaining wide popularity in Europe as early as the late 1830s. Lots of your stories contain depictions of the poor and the underclass, of not fitting in, which you felt quite strongly about.

[That's... fascinating, actually. And makes his appearance a little less weird.
Okay, no, not really, his appearance will forever be weird to Flynn.]
But not all of them were that bad. Some had a happy ending, right?
[And incoming curiosity in 3... 2...]
What other Heroic Spirits do you know?
